Jack discovered his thumb!

Its pretty cool to see all the changes in this little guy. As we mentioned, this past week (Week 6) has brought a lot of neat mannerisms. Jack now really studies faces and the expressions made towards him. And now he's even beginning to try to reciprocate them, which is borderline hilarious.

Everyday seems to bring a new discovery, which is quite amazing to witness. Today, Jack found his thumb. Last week, he discovered his hand and would admire it from a distance and study how it moved. He seemed mesmorized by the fact that he could move it towards his face and then away...and that it was always with him. Then, he progressed to putting his entire fist in his mouth. It was like an attached binky! Then, this morning after I changed him into his new outfit, he discovered the miraculous thumb. And it ended up right in his mouth. This was accompanied by a big burst of baby glee (or as I call it: "cooing"). He still is a little confused on how this whole "hand" thing works, but he's figuring it out finger by finger.
