Take Me Out to the Ball-Game...

Our friend, Neal, has a summer league baseball team, called the Strongsville Dirtbags. Mike helps out at home games by doing the announcing over the loud speaker. The environment is a lot of fun, so when we can, Jack and I go up to the games. We load up the stoller, about a thousand toys, fifteen hundred diapers, all sorts of snacks and sippy cups and go. Jack could probably last the entire season on the items I pack for one game, but a girl's gotta be prepared (or the whole crowd faces the consequences :).

We thought it'd be funny to get a shirt made up for Jack, that says "Future Dirtbag (player)" Its a riot. On the back of the shirt, we printed his name and his dad's high school number, 14. Lets just say Jack's "uniform" was a hit.

Furthermore, Jack seems to really like watching the game. We spend time up in the announcer's booth and Jack intensely watches the action on the field. Its pretty cool. I wonder if he'll get his dad's baseball talents....that could really be something! Time will tell.
