Two!

We had so much fun celebrating Jack's 2nd birthday, that we decided to throw two parties. And we also had a special dinner with Nonna on Jack's actual birthday, so if you really think about it, we celebrated 3 times. We just couldn't help ourselves.

The weekend before Jack's 2nd birthday, we went to Dayton to have a little party with Grandpa, Chris, Great Grandpa, Aunt Ann, Uncle Kev, Aunt Lette, Calvin, Cameron & the Becks. It was a bunch of fun-- we went to an indoor playland (I think the older kids (i.e. Dad & Uncle Kev) may have had the most fun playing games. Jack managed to climb up into a big jungle gym with Cameron-- he was cautious at first and then really played a lot. Afterwards, we went back for pizza and cake. Such a fun time!

Then, on Tuesday, Jack's actual birthday, we took homemade cupcakes into school and had a little party during snack time. When we got home from school/work, Nonna G was at our house-- with dinner and cupcakes and presents! It was a really special day! And as if we couldn't have enough to be happy about...Thanksgiving was two days later. Family came into visit-- making it so much fun.

His big birthday party was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We choose a Silly Monkey theme, since Jack loves to imitate monkeys! Jack wore his Jim Tressel red sweatervest to root on the Buckeyes, who beat Michigan. We had a buttito and quesadilla bar from Qdoba for everyone to munch on. It was yum (and easy-- a double plus!). Guests included Pop, Grandma, Nonna, Uncle Kevin, Jeanne, Uncle Kev, Aunt Lette, Calvin, Cameron, the Bottoms, the Karabaics and our neighbors, the Seabooks.

Can't believe he's two! Discovering more and more of his personality every day is such a treat!
